On a vast, almost 30-acre farm, we designed a contemporary house to replace the existing 3-bedroom ranch style home. The house we designed takes advantage of picturesque views of existing verdant farmland including a beautiful pond and woods. Two-story living spaces open to the aforementioned views with a central splayed stair to be constructed with full glass risers providing long views out to the exterior deck and the farmland beyond. The proposed contemporary house received unanimous approval from the Colts Neck Township Architectural Review Committee, one of the very few times such approval was granted for a modern house design. Our design uses stone slabs, masonry and custom high-performance windows and doors. A full height cellar will include a home theater and gym space with access to the second-floor bedrooms. No expense is spared for the new grand eat-in kitchen and dining space to accommodate the client’s family and friends. This is a high-end residential design utilizing the best of materials and cutting-edge mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure.
