Historic Townhouse Renovation

Bank Street is named for the Bank of New York with their purchase of eight lots in 1798 as well as establishing a branch bank on this street.  92 Bank Street is an historic 3 story townhouse built in 1899 and part of the Greenwich Village Historic District.  Our work included new historically accurate fenestration and enlargement of a new roof penthouse approved by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission.  New roofing and roof-mounted air conditioning were also installed as part of our work.  Interior spaces were designed in keeping with the historic character of the Federal style architecture.  Our sensitive design maintained historic details, integrated new structural elements, mechanical, electrical and plumbing with minimal intervention.  92 Bank Street was restored with precision and in context with this famous New York City street.
