This apartment, at 60 floors above the ground, truly scrapes the sky with south and east views of the East River and Roosevelt Island. Our interior design of this four-bedroom, almost 3,000 S.F. apartment included gutting of the apartment to provide new mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure. The contemporary design concept utilizes the finest materials such as solid rift sawn white oak plank flooring, statuary white marble slabs and polished nickel trim. Clean meticulous details of built-in millwork, solid core doors, running trim and hardware create a rarefied high-end residence. The new kitchen’s center island incorporates an induction cooktop and duel fuel oven with a sleek pop-up exhaust. Poggenpohl custom cabinets are accented with a custom backlit milky white glass backsplash. Linear LED recessed ceiling fixtures provide lighting and create a design pattern. Indirect LED lighting is used to accent ceiling coves at the dining and living rooms spaces. The Owner’s extensive art work punctuates the apartment and creates a museum quality experience.
