Apartment Alteration

Cosmo Veneziale, ARCHITECT, designed this contemporary East Side three bedroom, two- and one-half bathroom apartment to maximize both space and spectacular views of Central Park. The apartment interior is outfitted with expertly crafted sycamore veneer and plaster details organized around a steel framed translucent glass corridor. The sycamore kitchen and integrated den utilizes every inch of available space. A concealed large plasma TV cabinet is a welcome surprise and enlivens the den space. An elegant formal dining space takes advantage of the great Central Park view and glorious sunsets from oversized full height sliding glass doors. Ceilings are sculpted to conceal indirect lighting fixtures and maximize height. Even an existing roof drain riser was wrapped in metal and fitted with glass shelves to display personal artifacts. The exquisite interior details extend to the outdoor terrace which is beautifully crafted with granite pavers and minimal glass parapet railings to make this a truly holistic design experience.
